Attributed to Allan Ramsay (Scottish 1713-1784) - A finely painted shoulder-length portrait of a young gentleman, c.1760, oil on canvas, unsigned, possibly a preliminary study for a larger portrait, 47 x 38cm approx, together with a frame constructed from a mahogany drawer and with gilt slip (the present vendor has family links with the Campbell family - Dukes of Argyll)
