2 German bisque socket head dolls with jointed composition bodies, both with sleeping blue eyes and open mouth with teeth. Taller doll has long brown hair and impressed mark Heuback Koppelsdorf 250.4, height 60 cm and the other (Schoenau & Hoffmeister) is 55cm tall marked Simon & Halbig S&H 8½ (2)

Dark haired doll; white spot on left cheek. No chips or obvious cracks to bisque. Not viewed under ultra violet light. Faint L shaped line just visible from left ear towards mouth which is possibly an indication of professional restoration. Glue residue on hairline. Cracks to eyelids.
