Early 20th century bisque head character doll by William Goebel, with 5 piece bent limb composition body, fixed brown eyes, smiling open mouth with teeth, dark brown mohair wig and wearing tartan dress with knitted under-clothes. Impressed marks include'B1 3' with crown symbol and WG monogram. Height 36cm.

No obvious chips or cracks to bisque head. No evidence of restoration to bisque head seen under UV light. There is a fine white line above left eyebrow, which appears to be a surface mark, not a crack. Missing little finger on right hand. Condition of body is generally good.
