A fine Japanese bronze dish, of plum blossom form, the interior presented as five petals with finely detailed foliate and floral motifs interspersed with insects and butterflies, in gilt, and mixed metals, signed verso, likely Kyoto school, Meiji period (1868-1912) 27cm diameter on associated ebonised hardwood stand
Light surface scratches throughout. General wear to gilding and minor nicks to edge. Streaks visible to reverse, most likely where wall hanging mounts have previously been. Would benefit from a clean.
