(2 of 3) An early 17th century Oolitic limestone pinnacle with Crocket detail, approximate height 2 metres, base 65 x 65 cm approx removed from St Mary’s Parish Church, Olveston, BS35 4DA, The tower was re-built in 1606 following a lightning strike, the pinnacle is believed to be of that date, constructed in three graduated pieces with the lowest joint above the lowest crocket and the second joint immediately below the upper crocket – noted by David Verey, Buildings of England, Gloucestershire 1970. The Pinnacle is standing on paving within the churchyard, it will be the purchaser’s responsibility to remove the item. Numerous images of the church can be found online.

The successful purchaser of this lot will have option of taking the remaining Pinnacle at the same unit price
